| In
today's constant and often turbulent changing business climate, everyone
must have the capacity to constructively and effectively respond. Through
a combination of group and individual activities, this program helps participants
find harmony and balance within themselves, with others and with the shifting
work environment. Gain new perspectives on how hidden assumptions, self-talk
and interpretations inhibit one's ability to cope. Participants learn
to become internally quieted and focus on what is happening (rather than
on ideas about what is happening). Experiment with a variety of techniques
to keep one functional when the unknown creates doubt and fear.
Learn how to stay centered in changing situations in order to gain understanding
and options for growth.
Through
this process participants will:
- Learn
methods for maintaining balance and staying functional when the stresses
of life push on us.
- Identify
values and qualities within themselves that are sources of self-empowerment.
- Become
aware of self-imposed limitations.
- Identify
their value system and learn how to support it behaviorally.
- Anticipate
a variety of conclusions that life can offer to a challenging situation.
- Become
more effective under pressure, less stressed, and more able to handle
what comes your way.
- Discover
how to focus and think clearly by using "letting go" techniques.

"Diana,
I would like to thank you again for the wonderful job of facilitation
you did on the course titled 'Dealing With Change' for Texas Instruments.
In a word, you had the participants of this class 'pumped'. You immediately
connected with the group with great enthusiasm and created a rapport that
was open and inviting. The interaction between the class members was outstanding
at the beginning and just improved as the class progressed. The excitement
I sensed when I walked into the classroom was electric and participants
were literally on the edge of their seats with anticipation. Some of the
comments from the participants include":
"Wow!
This is a must take."
"This
is by far the most pleasing 8 hour class I've had here. First class that
I would actually tell someone-ya gotta do it!"
"Totally
appropriate for my current situation."
